I do not like to be bombarded by daily/weekly/monthly emails from these people, so I tend to avoid 'intrusive', 'wasting-my-time', 'obnoxious' sites like those. Also, I like to avoid sites that interrupt my workflow (and waste my time) with obnoxious popups, so I try to avoid such sites. However, I cannot guarantee that these sites will not bombard you with popups, because I am using host blocking of 3rd-party CDN (Content Delivery Network) sites that prevents many popups from such sites, which are implemented via Javascript accessed at those CDN sites.
