July 2002 Bresky comes to Charlottesville from Bronxville, N.Y., where he coached and traveled with one of the top juniors in the United States. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach at Indiana State for the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons where he earned a master's degree in business administration. The Sycamores were 53-8 during that span, ranked as high as No. 17 in the country and won back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Championships. Bresky was a physical education teacher at Indiana State and a teaching professional and assistant director of tennis for the Terre Haute Country Club. A 1998 graduate of Western Illinois University, he was a three-year captain and three-time Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year. Bresky helped the team to two Mid-Continent Conference Team Championships in 1995 and 1996 and was an All-Conference selection all four years.
